Impact Stories: The Last Raid

The Amuria Lochoro Simon project tells an inspiring true story of a former cattle rustler from Kotido in the Karamoja region, whose life was completely transformed through faith, mentorship, and GNPI support. Under the guidance of Pastor Jethro and Pastor Enock, Simon turned away from a life of theft and violence, embraced agriculture as a means of livelihood, and publicly professed his faith through baptism.

Simon’s journey is a powerful testament to how the combination of spiritual guidance, practical media resources like the solar kit, and personal accountability can restore lives and bring hope to families and communities. Beyond his personal transformation, the project highlights the ripple effect of positive change, how one life transformed can inspire others, strengthen communities, and foster lasting peace and development in remote areas of Uganda.

Through this initiative, the Amuria Solar Kit story demonstrates that faith and practical support together can empower individuals to leave destructive paths behind and embrace purposeful, God centered lives.
